My journey into found-object art began while juggling two worlds: teaching as an adjunct math instructor at Santa Barbara City College and remodeling a local fixer-upper home. The student journalists at The Channels showed an interest in the artist math teacher and documented how I turn recycled local scrap metal into whimsical robotic sculptures.
